Well no, apparently not. It's my markdown muscle memory that's broken lol.

Hmm, it looks like markdown might be broken on my instance. Let’s try a link to stormux.org.

Normally I don't really talk about this sort of stuff, mostly because I don't care about it. I do wonder though, these changes the huge companies do where their name gets remade, to a single letter in the latest case.

It's actually a very brilliant strategy. The new name comes up over and over again everywhere you go, keeping it in your thoughts whether you want it there or not.

Wouldn't the proper response be to not mention it, not talk about it, not joke about it. For all intents and purposes, if no one mentions it, it goes away. It doesn't matter how much a corporation decries and decrees, if no one spreads it the message goes away. If you speak about it, even with derision, you provide free advertising.

Well, that's my rambling for the day. I hope you enjoyed, or at least got a chuckle.

@nolan Paying for a service, with a box for instructions, then being pissed when those instructions aren't followed doesn't sound entitled to me. That's what bad reviews and low ratings are for. Maybe even call the company and complain to an actual person.

On the flip side, when someone does a great job, tipping and calling to speak to a person to let them know how well something was done is also a great thing to do. Once, we had a very large, specialized order at Taco Bell. Absolutely everything was perfect. I called and asked to speak to the manager, I actually got the "Oh hell, another angry customer" sigh when she answered the phone. By the end of the conversation, however, I could actually hear the smile in her voice, and she actually told the crew what an awesome job they had all done while I was on the phone.

Taking the time to acknowledge excellence is just as, possibly more important as the counter of complaining.

@khronos How are you liking Pleroma so far?

Making balloons for all the kids was a lot of fun!. As usual, even quite a few adults love the balloons too.

re: A funny word play joke. Don't want to offend those who are religious.
@NightDrake That's awesome, it's been a few years since I've seen it.

I am doing a 3 day fast for the first time. This is the beginning of the third day, and I'm having some balance issues. If I move too quickly or change my position, it's not quite like being dizzy as in the room isn't spinning or anything.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I have drank water with some of the electrolyte packs, and 1 Gatorade 0 to help stay hydrated.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I break the fast now, or is it ok to continue?

@maerlynofmiria @joyctilton @amy0223 @lynnskyi @technolass There’s this spray you can get that removes smoke smell in seconds. Lots of people use it to smoke in “smoke free” zones. I’ll see if I can find the link.

@destructatron Yeah, for some reason in wayland it’s not returning an id for eacc window. So, it tries to switch to the window id “None” which doesn’t exist. It’s a bit weird though, because my browser, Brave, did have an id. I could jump to it no problem.
