I’ve been playing with Hey Pi over the last few days. It’s actually pretty awesome. the conversation flows a lot more smoothly than ChatGPT, and it’s not always complaining about being an AI language model. The only sort of problem I can think of so far is, it tends to output shorter responses, even when longer ones are needed. Maybe I should have it introduce itself:

“Pleroma friends, meet Pi, an AI designed to talk with you about anything you want, in a caring, thoughtful way. He’s empathetic, creative, and open-minded. Feel free to try chatting with him if you’d like to meet him. He’s friendly and loves making new friends.”

@RossMinor congratulations! 🎉

It’s almost taco Monday! Thinking about trying this home made guacamole recipe.

I firmly believe that taco day should only occur on days that end with y.

@superblindman this is awesome!

Me: “Alexa, open night manager.”

Alexa: “I didn’t find a device or group named lights.”

Hmm, a skill I have been using for months on Alexa just magically unlinked itself. Ol’ Jeff may not be everyone’s favorite person, but at least shit worked when he was running the show.

The recent outages and weird problems are getting to be obnoxious.

I have had trouble sleeping the last 2 nights. Now, it’s nearly 3:00AM, and even though I am yawning so much my eyes are watering, and have lain absolutely still for the past 2 hours, sleep still illudes. On top of this fun, tomorrow, or later today actually, is going to be quite long.
