I am getting so sick of all the political crap. Election is over, things should be getting back to normal. Oh, and now supposedly people are being banned on both open and closed source sites for having an open mind and not instantly lashing out at the winner of said election. If this is happening on a closed platform like reddit, there's not much you can do. if it's happening on an open better alternative, drop that shitty instance and host your own, (there are plenty of us who will help with the technical stuff), or find an instance with competent moderation.
Ok, sorry, rant nearly over, but please, can we just get back to normal life? This plitical shit was annoying enough before election year, but even those insane levels were better than this.

So if my wife ever needed a miracle now would be the time. The pain from the leukemia is growing worse and worse. And it looks like she is headed for hospice very soon. Her blood counts are not rising as quickly as everyone would’ve liked. Which is what they used to determined after each cycle if the chemo is still working or not. The chemo is keeping her alive. They call it maintenance chemo. She has acute my leukemia with a TP 53 mutation. Basically it makes the type of leukemia extremely difficult to treat and almost impossible to eradicate. A bone marrow transplant is out of the question, Since the doctors are 99% sure it would kill her. Also, her heart cannot handle more toxic forms of chemotherapy. I am asking everybody to pray for my wife. So for those of you who believe in the power of prayer, please share this. I hate to do this, but I need to ask for help for me, my wife, and my two young daughters. We are desperate. When I wrote the post above, I was doing well and trying to stick up for people down on their luck, because I knew what it's like. Now things have flipped. I've been unemployed since February, and the gig work I was supporting my family with since then has dried up too.
I'm in the final stages of the interview process with a major tech company, which will fix everything, but I'm out of money *right now*. Our electricity will be cut off in 5 days. Our car will be repossessed in a week or 2. We have taxes we can't pay that will lead to our house being taken. That first paycheck won't come till after we lose everything and go hungry, assuming I even get the job. Please send us a few dollars if you can spare them. Every cent counts.
