I have to ask, because apparently a lot of people don’t use the keyboard to navigate websites at all. I do it all the time.

who out here plays Factorio? I'd like to try it but it looks ... extremely complicated.

Found a new way are blocking .

Because I am legally , with less than 10 degrees of vision, I cannot visually solve

Because I am mostly , I cannot solve vocal Captchas.

Therefore, I added block and solve Captchas extensions to my browser.

On three major sites - I could no longer access, as they had added Captchas that bypassed the blockers!

FaceBook, Amazon, and Submittable do not allow Captcha blockers.

So, I had not been able to access those sites at all for a while.

When I found Submittable blocking me today, for the first time, I decided to turn off the Captcha blockers, as they obviously aren't working.

Instantly, Amazon and Submittable are working.

I haven't tried FaceBook.

are and need for blind, deaf, , and multiple other disabilities. It is Disability Discrimination for sites to block Accessibility Access helpers.

I shouldn't need a sighted and hearing person, likely a stranger, to be given my login information, username and password, to log me into every site I need to go to every day!

people, please respect people with disabilities. Disable and Remove Captchas. Disable and Remove Block the Block Captchas extensions.

I wasted a lot of hours trying to figure out why suddenly I could not login to sites.

Hours because some tech people decided to break and block accessibility for a DeafBlind !

Does listening to an audiobook count as reading?

Please boost for reach.

linux-game-manager

Storm Dragon pushed changes to the master branch of the linux-game-manager project Added game Zombowl.

It is awesome so many people are enjoying Zombowl. I like helping people get into the Halloween spirit. As Type O Negative says, "Every day is Halloween."

The Toby Doom Operation MDK Walk Through iw now available on Youtube. I will start on the walk through for the Deluxe Map Pack soon. Some things have change a bit now that Toby Doom version 7.5 is out.

HCraptcha strikes again. I am unable to get into a forum where I am registered because their stupid accessibility cookie refuses to work. Bring out the pitchfforks and torches! 😡

If you're reading this, please so I can get back to being federated with the . Unfortunately, the data center I've been hosting with for years and years encountered some serious issues. I had to move suddenly, losing almost everything. I took the chance to change the software I use. But I've still lost all of my followers, all of my federation, etc! It's also taken down rblind.com, my passion project to get more folks off . I'll be bringing that back over the coming days. In the meantime, hi! I'm a blind guy who uses the , loves and works in the field, and reads tons of , , and and in my spare time. Nice to meet you!

Hey of .

So I'm running into some accessibility issues in my algebra course involving graphing. I do not have the support of state services for the blind, however I'm connected with disability services on campus. Otherwise, I'm going at all this on my own and for the most part handeling things well.

However, I'm not exactly sure how best to overcome things where advanced math and graphing come into play.

My tools currently include a standard, non-graphic calculator, a laptop running NVDA as a screen reader, 80-cell braille display on lone from disability services and a whole lot of tenacity. So far, I've maintained a consistent A in my course, but with the graphing stuff, I'm concerned that might change.

So, what are your tools and techniques for dealing with this and more advanced calculatory things? What add-ons may be of use, what tools should I be looking at, and what questions should I be asking?

Thank you so much in advanced to anyone who offers any advice.

So I may have asked this before. I live in a somewhat weather-prone area. I have an active license and would love to get back in to ham radio. I'm looking for an affordable and accessible handheld. and, go! Also made this public for boosting.

Exciting things are happening this month in Stormux land. A new Halloween themed bowling audio game has been released on Itch.io. Episode 1 of the Stormux podcast is available. More stuff coming soon.

I just published my first game on itch.io. It is called Zombowl. It is a #Halloween themed bowling audio game. If I did it right, there should also be text so that people with vision can read what is being said.

Nothing makes you appreciate electricity like being without it for nearly five days. It's good to be back.
